Milford Sound is located on the south island of New Zealand, where we see a scene of immense beauty that some have qualified as the eighth wonder of the world. Located in the Fiordland National Park, a remote area of 1,200,000 hectares which is home to wonders of nature and is host to the second highest waterfall in the world. In its forests and streams animals have been found (such as Takahara, a rare bird) that were believed to be extinct.

Visiting the area is a relatively straightforward task, which allows visitors to enter a universe which is almost untouched. It is reached by boat from Queenstown and when it comes to the view there is absolutely no other place on earth that it can be compared to. Water, pure forest and wildlife is what we can find.

There are many hiking trails that can be walked in Milford Sound. For more information, visit the Milford Track Department of Conservation. New Zealand accommodation providers operate near Milford Sound and include hotels, resorts, lodges, and campsites.
